Toddler Lunch Ideas 🍎
Happy hump day everyone! Have you ever been stuck on what to pack for lunch? Well here are a few #toddlerlunchboxideas that can get you through the rest of the week ☺️.
Read below for tips & tricks:
My main goals when planning lunch are to 1) provide foods that fuel their bodies (think protein, carbs, healthy fats), 2) give them an opportunity to try new foods (I pair new foods with ones I know they already like ), and 3) give them a reason to smile (I love to eat with my eyes first , and so do my kiddies… presentation matters lol).
Don’t have time to cut veggies into flowers lol? Then add a sticker or a fun note for them. Just add something to make them smile ☺️.
Lunch 1: chicken salad spinach wrap, plantain chips , mini cucumbers , strawberries, @unreal.snacks chocolate candies
Lunch 2: @applegate chicken nuggets, ketchup, mandarin orange , blueberries, @annieshomegrown bunny cookies, pretzels
Lunch 3: avocado uncrustable, hummus , carrot sticks, mandarin orange , grapes , blueberries, @dovechocolate chocolate
Lunch 4: Turkey sandwich, apple “fries”, orange , blueberries, shredded cheese , @simplemills almond flour crackers , @back2naturefood chocolate cookie
Tip: to prevent sliced apples from browning, soak in salt water(1/2 tsp salt to about 1 1/2 cups water ) for 2 minutes or so. No, they don’t taste salty ☺️
